As you probably know, the best day to read the classified ads is Sunday. That's when the most companies place their ads. There are a few great sources: (1) The San Diego Union-Tribune is the only newspaper in the County. If you can't purchase a Sunday paper then try: (a) Going to your public library. There should be a San Diego newspaper there. After all, San Diego IS the nation's 7th largest city. (b) Depending on where you live, there's always a newstand which sells papers from out of town. Look 'em up in the phone book, and call them and find out if they carry the San Diego Union-Tribune. (2) Do you know what part of San Diego you will be moving to? There are a few regional papeers, like the North County Times. They might have local listings. (3) The 2nd most-read paper in San Diego is The Reader. It comes out every week, and their classified ads are huge. (4) You can look at the Union - Tribune classifieds online (See listing below). However, if you're not a subscriber to the home delivery, I believe you'll have to pay a fee. But it's worth it -- good way to stay in touch with the community you intend to move to. (5) Lastly -- if you're not planning on moving to San Diego right away. You can subscribe to the newspaper, and ask just for Sunday delivery to be mailed to you. Yes -- good receptionists are needed. Take care.
