About Is it easy to find work in San Diego

Is it easy to find work in San Diego?
Hi I am getting a four months working visa to see a bit from that other side of the world. Mainly because I want to reward myself for having finally finished my degree. See a little more sun then what one can get in London, and improve my health. The only question is weather one can find wrk in San Diego easily? or would I keep on searching for three months and then have to go, you know!

You could set up interviews for when you arrive. You don't need to wait until you get to San Diego to start looking. San Diego is one of the top 10 largest cities in the US and the 2nd largest city in California. I would imagine that if you couldn't get a job there then you would have a much harder time getting a job anywhere else. Go to CraigsList.com and search for job listings there to get an idea of what is available: http://sandiego.craigslist.org/ Good Luck.

It's very easy to find work, but of course it depends on what kind of job you want and how much money you want to make. Based on your post, I'm going to assume that you really just want to earn some pocket money for the summer and that you really don't want to work too hard and you're not really looking to get rich while you're here. I have several recommendations in that case. Contact the main temp agencies for some basic office work. Office Team is one to comes to mind. Also, there is a Starbucks on almost every corner, I'm sure you could find something with them. I would recommend you start making some contacts now. Check out monster.com . I'm guessing you could also easily find restaurant work near the beach for the summer. Keep in mind that as far as the US is concerned, San Diego is a somewhat expensive place to live. Rent is quite high here...precisely because of the weather. To get a taste of what's going on here, check out the sandiegoreader.com they also have job postings as well as apartments for rent. Good luck!
